Touching The Bluescreen

Many companies supply IT training, some use simulations. The method we use at BluescreenIT is hands on training.
Many People need new skills and training. Imagine you are training as a carpenter or mechanic, you turn up for your first day and are told ‘on this computer is your simulated engine/piece of wood’. Strange? Why should IT training be any different? If studying for Cisco why not work on real Routers and Switches, for Microsoft training why not work on real Clients and Servers. The style of training we use at BluesceenIT also ensures we use technologies from many different environments. With simulations everything works how it’s meant to first time with no problems, in the real world this rarely happens.
When you are employed you will be expected to troubleshoot complex networking problems in large enterprise networks. You may have a piece of paper which states you are MCSE, This can be attained by using techniques such as brain dumping or boot camps, but have you experienced real network environments and carried out troubleshooting on real network problems?. The answer is no you just know that the answer is B, This can be a problem if you are asked a real world question, by a real world employer, as the answer is probably not going to be A,B,C or D. The experiences gained in hands on training give you confidence and knowledge of using computers in a wide variety of situations and how to troubleshoot issues rather than sitting there and thinking ‘the simulator never did this’.
Whether you are resettling from the military, retraining for a career change or furthering your knowledge within IT, Training at BluescreenIT will ensure that you are armed with real world knowledge, gained from hands on training and experience.
This type of training enables you at an interview to actually turn around to an employer and say, ‘I have built this, I know this, I have done this’.
